The East Kimberley from a helicopter, mid-flight on the way to the Bungle Bungle Range.
Ancient rock folds in rhythmic ridges across the country, a valley line winding between them and a vast horizon settling at the back of the frame. Soft sage and rust tones carry across the surface — sunlit ridges on one side, shaded gullies on the other — under the high, open Kimberley sky. The country reads as old, patient, and alive with detail at every scale.
What the photograph holds is the country in transit. A passing view that, held still, becomes its opposite: long, slow, quiet, larger than any single moment.
The palette is grounded — warm earth tones with cooler greens, easy to live with. Sympathetic to natural timbers, stone, linen and neutral palettes; reads sophisticated without going formal. Settles into living rooms, studios, offices and reception areas, and pairs well above a console, sofa or sideboard in modern, rustic and contemporary rooms.
Printed and framed in a thin gallery profile, matte finish, ready to hang. We tend toward dark wood — never the loudest thing in the photograph — but four frame finishes are offered. Made-to-order · Free Australia-wide shipping · — Two Fat Bunnies.
